Scope and Content
The Special Events series of the Adler Planetarium Historic Photographs collection contains images of events hosted at, sponsored by, or participated in by the Adler Planetarium. The series is arranged into sub-series based on the type of event, and includes anniversary celebrations, dedication ceremonies, meetings and symposia, the annual Celestial Ball, awards presentations, VIP visits, performances, private events, workshops, and media events.
