Mercury in glass thermometer on a flat, silvered brass backboard. Cylindrical bulb. Tube backed by white glass strip. Degree markings incised on front surface. Scale (20-120° Fahrenheit) on silvered brass bar screwed to backboard along right side of tube. Backboard pierced with 4 holes for mounting thermometer. Very corroded.
