Plain, functional, well-made dividers. One leg of dividers is double plates of steel, and folds into the other leg, which is triple plates of brass. Flat, circular tenoned joint. Both faces of joint have a steel cheek piece; on one piece there are holes for a turn key. The outer, brass leg has a steel tip. This instrument looks like a long joint (employing a lot of friction to remain open) with steel points attached to the bottom of the friction parts.
