Vernier compass suitable for mine surveying. Bilevel compass rose with 8 points, 0-90-0-90-0° every 10°, and 0-360° every 1°. East and west points reversed. Maker's inventory number "165" near south point. Needle, glass missing. Also missing part of the needle brake.
