Memo addresses technician and heating engineers' schedules during the modernization of the Zeiss Planetarium. In the first week of January modernizations, three technicians worked the following overtime hours: Fred O'Callaghan: 19.5, Bert McKenna: 20, Curt Richter: 15.5. The three technicians have not yet worked exceedingly long hours due to (1) One technician cannot work alone; adding a fourth [Assistant Planetarium technician] will allow for two longer-than-eight-hour shifts with some overlap and (2) A third crate of parts arrived in Chicago over a week ago but it has not yet been received and not sure when it will be received. Will not expand hours of work only to come to a point where the parts in the third crate are needed but, since the crate has not been received, they must stop work.
