Bi-level compass. Cardinal points in Latin abbreviations at 4 points. Raised ring with traditional division of circle 1-24 by 8ths; ring incorrectly rotated so that 1 is at east point. Replacement blue/silver needle type 7. Rotating needle brake with gothic style handle. Round compass box secured to rectangular plate.
