Apollo 15 Flown Ephemera

WRK-8 features a frame with Apollo 15 ephemera that was on board the mission from July 26th to August 7th of 1971. The frame includes a large horizontal picture of astronaut James Irwin saluting the American flag with the module in the background. Below the picture are the signatures of the three crew members on board the mission. In the upper right hand corner there is an American flag that was flown onboard the module. Underneath the flag is an engraved metal plaque. In the bottom right hand corner of the frame is an Apollo 15 mission patch. Stretching across the bottom half of the frame is a printed piece of paper discussing the dedication of the ephemera to Chicago.
