Circular-hinged sector. Hinged disc embedded in legs. An outer circle of one leg rotates around an inner circle from the other leg; very complex and unusual design. Fine foliate engraving on hinge and on legs near hinge with extension piece. An extension piece onto hinge from one leg fits into cut-away on other leg, forming a different design, when sector is fully open. An arm extends from one leg near hinge and fits around hinge circle to hold sector open at 125 degrees. Double scales on both arms. On one arm are lines are quadratic segments, metals, stereometric, arithmetic, geometric, and harmonics. On the other arm are lines of regular solids inscribed in a sphere, chords, regular polygons inscribed in a circle, polygons, and tetragonic.
