Quadrant has usual Gunter-type projection for latitude of London. Winter hours labeled 6-11 at top; summer hours labeled 8-12, reverse, along bottom. Shadow square divided in 50 parts on each side. Five stars laid out on quadrant. Hole along left radius for plumb-bob, which is missing. Reverse has sight, plumb-bob drawn in pencil. Table also written in pencil. Flat wood quarter circle with engraved and blackened scales. There are penciled notations on reverse. (TF)
