Polished brass strait bar frame, wooden handle. Tangent screw and clamping screw are on the back of the index arm. Four shades (three red, one green); three horizon shades (two red, one green). Index glass adjustment by screw; horizon glass by screw and milled thumbscrew. Telescope bracket in two parts, fitted for correcting collimation error, rising piece with milled knob. Telescope (54 mm) erect image. Sight tube (90 mm). Some unidentified parts are missing. Wooden keystone box with brass corners, and a trade label for Charlet Aine, at Havre.
