Wood compass with hand-colored, printed paper rose with 32 points and 0-90-0-90-0° every 1°. Fleurs-de-lys at north; crossed leaves at east. Blued needle type 12. Sight vanes attached by tongue in slot. Two slit-and-window sights on each vane. South sight cracked and glued. Wood with printed paper rose, hand colored. Has needle and glass, and old cracking caulk to keep glass in. Hardware is brass. TF 12/97.
