[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
Large, crude wrought iron dividers with square, flat tenoned joint. Square facing pieces on joint and pierced design below it are applique. The design is tacked at the lower end with a rivet. The dividers show signs of extensive repair; large patch pieces have been riveted and soldered with brass onto the outer face of one leg, which was thin sheets of iron to begin with. Connecting parts between upper leg and points are similar in cut to M-84 (bird-serpent), but no eyes or teeth have been drawn to make it a recognizable representation. Very long points (29.8 cm) have diamond-shaped cross section.
