Brass three-legged dividers with steel points. Main joint has screw through center, held in place by square bolt with shaved corners; floral engraving on bolt. Third leg is set at right angles to main joint by an extended post attached to the other side of the main screw; 360 degree rotation. This third leg and post also work by tenoned joint. Faces of this second joint have floral engraving. All legs are cut near hinges in architectural moulding style (cavetto and cyma reversa). Cross section of two main legs is triangular. Cross section of third leg is trapezoidal.
