Body, mater, regula, bail, and ring. False rete. Labeled in Latin. Mater consists of 2 rings, riveted to central disk with cavity on both sides. Bail pivots and ring swirls. Cavity is blank, shallow with no slot or pin for tympan. Probably held a "ready reckoner". Reverse of astrolabe shows rotatable disk with a de Rojas projection and fixed regula with sliding cursor. De Rojas projection shows 19 stars from 7 in "Ursa Major" to "Aquarii Fomahant". South polar area is engraved as above.
