German initials of weekdays along notch and running leaf decoration; age of moon (1-29.5); silver volvelle with pointer; aperture to show lunar phases and stars against a blue field; aspectarium. verso--notched and pierced, gilt volvelle for festivals and feast days which appear on silver disk beneath. Dates of festivals in German; month and number of days; zodiacal constellation image; lengths of day and night; times of sunrise and sunset; rosette. Foliate arabesques.
