Same as Greenough surveyor's compass W-154, except that the paper compass card is surrounded by a raised, brass ring creating a bilevel rose; 32 points. 0-90-0-90-0° every 1°, and raised scale 0-90-0-90-0 every 1°. Missing wood cover and glass. Wood with printed paper rose, hand colored. Has needle separately boxed but missing glass. Hardware is brass. Homemade brass mount attached to bottom with copper tacks. Brass ring dial in compass well. TF 12/97.
