Gilt rectangular dial with silver hour scales, latitude arm, declination scale and ornate plumb-bob holder. Dial rests on 2 gilt leveling screws and 1 foot. Crescent gnomon is a replacement made from a non-tarnishing metal or heavily lacquered silver.
