Steel equatorial sundial in felt-lined wooden box. Like a butterfield type dial but sturdier. Gnomon 1/8" (0.3cm) thick. Two spirit levels, three brass leveling screws. All scales repeated for use in Southern as well as Northern Latitudes. Lock for compass needle. Top of box cracked. Instruction sheet, equation of time chart map of magnetic variation.
