Spiral compass with steel point. Main body is screw with steel point at bottom. Pen attachment has spiral engraving of semicircles and Roman numeral II's. Curved spring mechanism forces pen holder out; ring on collar around screw holds pen in towards screw. Adjustable brass nut stops pen from spiraling inward past desired point. Pen holder contains one ink pen, the point of which has an X cross section that tapers to a tip. Extending from top of screw, and connected by curved, circular hinge to top, is a brace arm that ends in a forked brace.
