Letter describes the evacuation of scientists and directors of Carl Zeiss, Inc. by the Allies and the subsequent takeover of Zeiss by the communists. It states that the New York City office of Carl Zeiss, Inc. is no longer considered an agent of Zeiss and that the Adler would need to contact Zeiss in Jena directly for replacement parts for the Zeiss projector.
