Four-foot wooden rod with brass caps at the ends. Inches numbered 1-47 along one edge. Below inches 4, 6-42 arc eleven rows of numbers wrapping around the rod. No apparent pattern to numbers, except that they always increase moving down, and always increase moving to the right.
