Sundial: Magnetic Azimuth

Square dial constructed from a circle riveted to a square of gilt copper. Hinged arm fixed with brass spring in corner of plate. When vertical, its shadow is used to align dial. The entire dial is currently mounted in a modern wooden frame.

"E Habermel fecit" near compass.
