Large, wrought iron dividers with long joint. Two brass discs are incorporated in joint. Inner plate of long joint from one leg has scalloped edges. Legs adjacent to joint, where screw adjustment is attached, are scallop-cut and chiselled moulding. Long legs (diamond-shaped cross section) taper into points. Screw adjustment has crude, pierced wing nut handles for turning, and is attached to dividers by ring bolts. Screw appears to have been two screws soldered in middle, or one screw turned first from one end to the middle, then from the other end to middle.
