Brass scale of linear measures of various cultures. One end of scale has open ended aperture, half a clover in design. Other end has hemispherical cut-out. One long edge is cut into form ledge, or straight edge. Graduation marks on (a) are little vertical arrows. Scales are arranged on stock in descending order of length, with midpoints aligned. All scales are bar scales.
