CB-57

Noreascon 4 Retro Hugo Award

CB-57 is a Noreascon 4 Retro Hugo Award from 1953. The award consists of a metal rocket on top of a wooden base. The plaque is on one side of the 3 sided base, with circles formed by stars on the other two sides.

The Hugo Award is given out for achievers in the realm of science fiction and fantasy. In 1953 no Hugos were originally awarded, hence why this is a retro Hugo Award. It was presented in memory of Chesley Bonestell in 2004. He was recognized for his artistic abilities.
