Polished tulip-pattern frame, wooden handle. Tangent screw and clamping screw on the back of the index arm. Three shades (two red, one green); three horizon shades (two red, one green). Index glass adjustment by screw; horizon glass by capstan screws for perpendicular adjustment only. Magnifier on a swiveling arm. Threaded telescope bracket, no adjustment. Telescope (81 mm) erect image. Sight tube (82 mm); shades eyepiece (red). Fitted polished mahogany keystone box with green velvet linings, two latch hooks, lock and key.
