Chronograph

Black mechanical chronograph with Hipp governor. Cast iron rectangular base painted black. Brass drum on which paper is clamped. Turns on 2 brass cylinders whose rotation is regulated by gears and a steel cable (from which hung a weight) within a governing box mounted on the end of the base. Crank with wooden handle for governor. Pen hinged to a bracket with electromagnetic coils and screw outlets for green cotton-wrapped electric wires. Bracket moves on an endless screw aligned with length of drum and connected by gearwork to the governor. Four screw top electrical outlets on base.
