Sundial: Diptych

For 48-49° latitude as measured. Wind rose with 16 points labeled in German; windvane missing. Hole to view compass needle. Plate adorned by sun and stalks of leaves. Brass knob "feet". Compass missing needle and glass offset meridian (~7°E). Vane and hinged cover missing. All 3 latch hooks missing. Punchmark of bat on compass plate (2a)
