Rule: Part of etui

Rule. Decorative hemisphere shaped at one end for pulling out of the case. One bevelled edge for ruling. On one leg, a 4.5 inch scale reads to the edge. Below this, a scale of equal parts 0-37 by 1. Also on this leg's face, a double diagonal scale, 0-7 and 0-13 with 10 by 10 grids, relatively proportioned 2:1 with comparative subdivisions 1:100 and 1:200. On the other leg there are simply divided scales for parts/inch. Below these, a line of chords, 0-90 degrees by one degree.
