Image shows the construction of the first floor of the Adler Planetarium from the interior. A large scaffolding unit is shown in the middle of what will become the first floor. The dome is not yet constructed. A typewritten inscription on the front of the photograph, bottom center reads: '7/12/29 - Looking East, Adler Planetarium, Grant Park, Chicago, Ernest A. Grunsfeld, Jr., Archt., B-W Construction Co., Builders.'
