In a response to Olt's letter dated November 9, 1945 asking about replacement Bakelite for a Zeiss lamp base, Schlesinger states that the only place to buy extra Bakelite bases is from Carl Zeiss, Inc. in New York City. Letter also acknowledges that the lamp and base which were sent back to the Adler by Optron Lab have been received.
