Description
Octagonal horizontal dial for latitude 40° with hinged, triangular brass gnomon. Roman numerals on hour scale every 1/4 hour. Rose points every 10°. Replacement needle (homemade?), type 15. Secured in boxwood base with two rotating brass tabs.
