The Century of Progress series of the Adler Planetarium Historic Photographs collection contains images of the Planetarium building and surrounding exhibits and grounds during the Century of Progress International Exposition of 1933-1934. The series also includes images of visitors lined up outside the Planetarium during the busy time of the Exposition. The visitor photography appears to have been taken by Planetarium staff, while views of the building and surrounding landscape and attractions appear to have been made by commercial sources.
