Описание
Square, gilt brass base resting on three silver feet. Base decorated in corners with acanthus leaves. Circular, silver hour scale with Arabic numerals. Hinged gnomon for latitude 48° as labeled on hour scale. Gnomon is trimmed to follow an engrave pattern of acanthus leaves. Silver compass plate with arrow for magnetic deviation (~10° W). Gazetteer on bottom of compass box. Arrow-shaped needle, type 14.
