Description
Circular brown-lacquered brass box of which the lid that when screwed onto the back of the instrument serves as handle. The index arm is moved by gear and a milled knob let into the upper plate. Two shades (red, green), moved by levers. Horizon glass adjustment only, by square-headed screws and detached key stored in the upper plate. Swiveling magnifier (single lens) with a locking pin. Choice of sliding pinhole sight or telescope (49 mm) stored in the body of the instrument. Shaded eyepiece (red).
