Velvet-lined shagreen and cardboard case with silver and brass hardware. Octagonal dial with 3 turned feet and plum-bob. Hour ring has Arabic numerals inside. Pointing hand marks latitude. Floral pattern on base of compass box. Blued, arrow-shaped needle, type 14. Original case is lined with red velvet.
