Description
Navigator's kit of 21 objects (17 instruments). Rectangular wooden case with lift out shelf (lifts by rope loops at either end). Shelf fitted for instruments M-49a through M-49i, with circular space for an astrolabe (missing). Lower compartment fitted for M-49j through M-49u. Case lined with white chamois. Shelf covered with white chamois. Case covered with brown leather. Two large latch-hooks (one detached but in case).
