Image shows the Adler Planetarium under construction, from the exterior, entrance side. The dome's concrete slabs have been applied and the St. Cloud (Minnesota) Rainbow Granite has been applied on all elevations. The two front exterior doorways are in the process of being installed. A typewritten inscription on the front of the photograph, bottom center reads: '12/11/29 - Looking East, Adler Planetarium, Grant Park, Chicago, Ernest A. Grunsfeld, Jr., Archt., B-W Construction Co., Builders.'
