Iron dividers designed for screw adjustment; screw missing or never attached. Long joint incorporates two brass discs. Protruding caps on joint are worked as flowers. Inner plates of one leg have scalloped edge; outer plates of other leg are engraved with leaf design. Where screw adjustment would be attached is shaped and chiselled moulding; pierced for the collars that would hold the screw adjustment. Points are worked in cross-hatching before tapering to ends.
