Awarded to S.W. Burnham in 1887 by the Photographers Association of America. Cardboard case is covered in purple velvet. Square, hinged case. Lined inside on bottom with same velvet, on top with purple satin over cushion material. Maker's name and location appear on the satin in gold print.
