Small photoelectric cell of similar design to G-34b. Photoelectric cell consisting of a glass bulb, partially silvered with internal potassium coil, and two wire connections at right angles. This photoelectric cell was part of an exhibition at the Adler Planetarium explaining how light from the star Arcturus was converted into electrical signals to light the Century of Progress Expositions in 1933-1934.

This photoelectric cell and G-34b were part of an exhibit that explained how the star Arcturus was used to light the 1933 Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago (See Philip Fox, Adler Planetarium and Astronomic Museum, 1933, p. 60).
