Round dial with silvered compass plate with [broken] needle brake. Blued needle with jewelled pivot, type 30. Needle is marked at the south-pointing end (but the magnetism of the needle may have been reversed). With original wood and leather case, lined in red velvet with brass hardware. Leather exterior painted in gold floral patterns. This sundial has a qibla indicator.
