Copy, with changes, of a Roman dial, c.250-300 A.D., in the Lewis Evans collection and illustrated in Mrs. Gatty's book on sundials. Disk shaped dial with suspension ring adjustable for latitude. In a shallow well within the disk, there is a pivoting bar of brass with projecting gnomon on 1 end and an upwardly curving surface marked with hours.
