Coat of arms contains a shield with three roses sprouting from a triple mount. Above and surrounding the inset compass, circle of degrees 90-0-90-0-90 degrees, every 2 and 5 degrees; Latin names of cardinal points; east-west diametric bar bearing a rotating rule. Turned handle directly beneath compass. Underside of compass engraved with tendrils.
